Campsite
Strand Parken is a beautiful urban campsite located on the edge of the north Danish city of Aalborg. The campsite is around 2.5 kilometres to the east of the centre, a 30 minute walk or 10 minute bus ride. A lovely bakery and small supermarket are within walking distance of the campsite, while a popular open air swimming pool adjoins to the north. Lifeguards are on duty throughout the summer months and entrance is free.
Accommodation Options
In addition to standard camping pitches, the campsite offers two fully equipped cabins to rent on a short-term basis. These can be booked online through the campsite’s own website.
Transport Links
Aalborg Vestby railway station is just over one kilometre from the site, situated along the same road. The station offers direct links to Frederikshaven for ferries to Sweden and south to Copenhagen via Aarhus.

Directions to Campsite
Leave Aalborg Vestby Station, descending the stairs to street level and walk west along Kastetvej – passing through the underpass if arriving from the direction of Aarhus and Copenhagen. Follow the road all the way along until a crossroads and continue across onto Skydebanevej. The campsite is a further 400 meters on the right.
It is also possible to travel between the campsite, Aalborg Vestby Station, Aalborg main station and the city centre using city bus number 2, which runs every 10 minutes during peak times: Find your timetable | Nordjyllands Trafikselskab
