Campsite

Ribe, the ancient town on the Wadden Sea, is worth a visit alone. There’s no better place to stay than Ribe Camping, which lies in a wooded area, north of the main centre. Guests get to use the campsite’s own openair swimming pool that has a good sized main basin and a smaller children’s pool. There is a bakery, café and shop on site, while a larger supermarket is a 20 minute walk further south.

Accommodation Options

There are a host of accommodation options on the campsite beyond the standard tent pitches. Visitors can book a range of different sized cabins directly through the campsite that range from small huts for couples through to three bedroom luxury cabins with a jacuzzi.

Transport Links

The closest railway station to the campsite is Ribe Nørremark Station, a mere one kilometre away. Direct trains run north to Esbjerg and south to the border town of Tønder, where connections are available to Niebüll in Germany.

Directions to Campsite

Leave the Nørremark Station at the far end of the single platform and descend through a small wooded area onto the road. Turn right and you’ll soon reach a crossroads where you again turn right along a wider road, Nørremarksvej. Upon reaching a roundabout, turn right and you’ll eventually reach a crossroads with a busier main road. This will take you onto Farupvej and the campsite entrance is further along through the woods.
